Job description

Due to an upcoming maternity absence, our impressive, global manufacturing Client wishes to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Based in South Belfast, our Client is fast paced, well established and well respected as one of the world’s largest employers in their market.

The HR Business Partner will report to the Director of People & Culture and partner with the Senior Leadership team to support the central, professional services functions across the business.

The successful HR Business Partner will support and advise international stakeholders on strategy, policies and processes, driving the People aims and objectives.

This is an incredibly busy and varied People/HR Business Partner role and culture and team fit is incredibly important. The HR Business Partner must be commercial, experienced in supporting professional services population and passionate about HR. In return, this position offers an attractive salary, full time hours and a hybrid work pattern (2 days office, 3 WFH).

The Role

  1. Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies and workforce planning
  2. Talent management; support recruitment, talent development, succession planning and retention
  3. Change management; support business transformations
  4. Coaching and mentorship to promote growth and development
  5. Employee relations
  6. Provide expert advice on industry best practices

The Person

  1. 3rd level qualification in HR or CIPD qualified
  2. Recent, relevant HR Business Partnering experience in a professional services or international business environment
  3. Proven experience in recruitment, talent management and onboarding
  4. Experience in facilitating employee engagement, performance management and succession planning
  5. Knowledge of the HR life cycle and using HR Information systems
  6. Experience of managing employee conflict professionally
  7. Excellent communication and influencing skills, energised, driven and results-focused
  8. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
