Are you an experienced HR generalist looking for a dynamic, hands-on role? Are you immediately available for temporary work?

Moxie People is thrilled to be partnering with a respected client in the Education sector to find a dynamic and proactive HR Business Partner for a temporary role (to cover a period of sickness). If you have solid HR generalist experience, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and thrive in a collaborative setting, this is an exciting opportunity for you.

Title: Senior HR Business Partner

Location: Rhondda - predominantly office-based with flexibility as and when needed

Pay rate: £20 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Temporary (1 Month Initially, Potential to Extend)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner, offering guidance on all areas of people management within your designated business area.
  • Support key areas of the People Strategy, including Talent Management, Wellbeing, Learning & Development, and Recruitment.
  • Handle policy queries within your business area, ensuring consistency with HR policies and practices.
  • Manage absence management processes, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide data reporting and analysis using iTrent, supporting HR reporting and decision-making.
  • Support business leaders with probation management, forward planning, and ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Deliver training and coaching to managers, fostering a culture of growth, inclusion, and high performance.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in an HR generalist or Business Partnering role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in absence management and data reporting, with proficiency in using iTrent or similar HR systems.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to people management.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, although a risk assessment can be carried out while the DBS is processed.
