About Our Client

Our client is a prestigious boarding school based in West Berkshire. They have a longstanding history and reputation for excellence in education and are dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering an inclusive and stimulating work environment for all staff members. You will be joining a small team in HR on a fixed term contract, to support during a busy period of change.

Job Description

The HR Business partner will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives
  • Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • Managing employee relations cases, from initial advice to resolution
  • Supporting recruitment processes to ensure the attraction of top talent
  • Driving performance management processes
  • Overseeing the implementation of training and development programmes
  • Leading on change management projects within the organisation
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • A level 5 CIPD qualification
  • Experience working in an HR role, ideally within Education
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change
  • A desire for an office based role (no hybrid working)


Please note- as this is a fixed term role, you should be available on short notice.
