Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor / HR Business Partner / HR Manager to join an award-winning company in South East Manchester. This role pays £40,000 and will be 5 days a week in the office.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be an experienced HR Generalist looking to take your next career step. This is a standalone HR role that requires a confident and outgoing individual. Although it is not essential, an HR related degree or a CIPD qualification would be desirable.

My client is a growing and well-established firm based in the Northbanks Industrial Park in Irlam on the outskirts of Manchester. Because of this, you will most likely need your own transport to reach the site.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will create a positive & exciting workplace culture, develop their HR strategy, and help grow the business.

As the HR Manager in a standalone position, you will be responsible for circa 70 members of staff. Your HR generalist responsibilities will include:

  1. Recruitment, onboarding, training, staff reviews & appraisals
  2. Employee Relations, including disciplinary & grievance cases
  3. Best practice advice & guidance on company policies & procedures
  4. Working with supervisors, managers & directors for performance management
