About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner with an advisory and generalist HR background. Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner for Channel 1 and BST, and as a key member of the People & Culture HRBP team, the successful candidate will lead in shaping and delivering the people strategy and people plan for the Business Services Team (BST). The role also offers the opportunity to engage in firm-wide people projects, working collaboratively across our HRBP team.

  1. Provide support to the leadership team in shaping and implementing the People Strategy.
  2. Play an active role in delivering people-related projects such as creating a culture of continuous feedback, enabling and upskilling people managers, and embedding high performance.
  3. Develop and implement talent management and Strategic Workforce Planning strategies.
  4. Evolve the inclusion, diversity and wellbeing strategy alongside the EDI team to foster a culture of inclusion.
  5. Support partners and functional leaders in understanding team engagement levels, analyse key issues and results, and recommend interventions.
  6. Utilise the firm's ‘people' data/metrics to challenge biases and understand business trends.
  7. Advise people managers on best practices relative to the firm's policies and procedures.
  8. Lead and deliver annual people processes, including promotions, salary review, and discretionary bonus plan.
  9. Collaborate with the People Experience team and HRBP team to ensure consistency in performance and goal setting.
  10. Work with the HR Shared Service Centre to develop and deliver accurate and relevant data/‘people' reports.
  11. Act as an escalation point for HR Shared Services and P&C advisory team on complex queries.

  2. Excellent project management skills.
  3. Interest and experience in the use of technology and data analytics to generate insights.
  4. Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
  5. Awareness of current and future UK employment law.
  6. Commercially aware and capable of advising a complex client group.
