HR Business Partner

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for a global manufacturer based in Gillingham, Kent.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to management and employees, delivering HR expertise to support the business' goals.

The role focuses on fostering a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws and driving organizational performance. A key element of this position is the ability to effectively manage employee relation issues, particularly within the framework of UK employment law.

Working hours
Monday 07:30- 16.00, Tuesday - Thursday 07:30 - 15:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Weekly working hours are 37, however, some flexibility would be required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage complex employee relation issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
2. Conduct thorough investigations and provide expert guidance to resolve workplace conflicts.
3. Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters.
4. Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
5. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
6. Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.
7. Lead HR projects and support wellbeing campaigns.
8. Provide training to managers on employment law and facilitate learning and development initiatives.
9. Identify and assess training needs, create and maintain training matrices, develop relevant programs, and manage a comprehensive training library.
10. Support workforce planning, including succession planning and talent acquisition strategies.
11. Design, lead, and execute recruitment campaigns, including employer branding and job fair attendance.
12. Oversee and enhance employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition.
13. Manage employee relocations effectively.
14. Drive continuous learning and professional development initiatives across the organization.
15. Take initiative and employ creative problem-solving to enhance HR processes.
16. Assist in implementing organizational changes, including restructures.
17. Track and analyse key HR metrics to identify trends and recommend interventions.

What we're looking for:

1. CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification.
2. Proven experience as an HRBP, HR Generalist, or similar role, with a significant focus on employee relations and learning & development.
3. Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
4. Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday HRIS.
5. Experience in training delivery and Learning & Development program management.
6. Ability to communicate at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and influence.
7. Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR practices with business goals.
8. Skilled in handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.
9. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
10. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, time management, and resilience under pressure.
