Role Overview:

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in leading HR initiatives across multiple UK sites. You will provide both operational and strategic HR guidance, partnering with business leaders to support the organization’s goals and ensure the effective management of human resources across the UK operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify key issues impacting operational goals and offer strategic HR solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support on a wide range of HR issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, compensation, employee retention, engagement, workplace accommodations, and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Work closely with the HR team to develop and implement new initiatives, processes, and programs that support business objectives.
  • Communicate and facilitate the rollout of HR programs at the divisional and site levels, working with leaders to develop and retain talent.
  • Actively participate in HR project work, contributing to the development of new HR strategies for the organization.

Required Experience:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Significant professional experience in a generalist HR role, ideally as a Business Partner.
  • Experience in a standalone HR role or within a startup environment is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business solutions in medium to large, complex matrixed environments.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment and human rights legislation.
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, risk management, and relationship management.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships with business leaders.
