HR Business Analyst, Global Central Operations

This role can be based in London (UK) or Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities

We're working to be Earth's Best Employer. We're seeking a dynamic, organised self-starter to join our HR team, which we call People Experience and Technology (PXT). As a HR Data Analyst, you will own provision of people data and analytics across several countries. You'll manage and develop our people data and reporting tools. You will:

1. Manage, standardise, and enhance the people reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities for the PXT organization.
2. Enthusiastically drive HR optimisation and widespread adoption of self-service people analytics tools among HR and business leadership.
3. Work closely with senior HR leaders, including HR Directors, to help business leaders make great people decisions at scale. Enable all levels of management to understand key people trends across their business.
4. Communicate people performance data via analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence (BI) platforms. Make ad hoc recommendations to senior HR and their business Directors and VPs.
5. Use data analysis of PXT metrics to drive business decisions. Tell stories with data and identify trends.
6. Perform deep-dive analyses to quickly uncover root causes behind variances of key parameters over time.
7. Clearly write up your recommendations in plain language so leaders can rapidly make quality, evidence-based choices.
8. Partner with business intelligence engineers and data scientists to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights.

A day in the life

You'll maintain and improve our people reporting and analytics tools. These provide business performance reporting for all corporate and operations business lines you support.

1. Design data reporting solutions to track progress of our core people metrics, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
2. Analyse large data sets to provide detailed, robust reporting that supports our global corporate and operational business lines.
3. Access, analyse, and interpret HR data to spot trends and understand business impacts. You'll present these insights to senior international HR leaders, including HR Directors.
4. Work independently, and effectively, in a highly matrixed organization spanning many countries and global regions.

About the team

You will work within the Global Central Operations (GCO) HR team.

1. Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
2. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
3. Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
4. Experience with SQL.
5. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.

1. Experience in business or financial analysis.
2. Experience using AWS (S3, Redshift) and basic Python.
