Role Overview
Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for you to join our Enterprise Solutions team as a skilled and experienced HR Business Analyst on a 12 month FTC. You can work remotely, with occasional travel to our office in Nantwich (Stapeley). You will be working closely with various stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable insights, improving business operations and systems.
Ideally you will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business operations, experience working with ERP ecosystems (particularly in Microsoft Dynamics 365) and will contribute to implementing high-value solutions across the organization in an Agile development environment.
You Will
- Requirements Management: Facilitate workshops, collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements, and translate them into well-defined user stories within Azure DevOps.
- Process Mapping & Design Thinking: Lead the creation of detailed process maps, user journeys, and system diagrams using tools like UML, Visio, ensuring a clear understanding of current and future state processes. Employ Design Thinking principles to drive user-centered solutions that enhance the customer experience and streamline business workflows.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for business process improvements, optimizing workflows across our systems, and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and aligning technical solutions with business challenges.
- Data Analysis & Integration planning: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform good and timely business decisions. Lead data integration planning across platforms (utilizing various integration technologies) to ensure clear data mastering and seamless and accurate data flow between systems.
- Agile Practices: Participate in PI Planning sessions, work with the Product Owners to maintain the Product Backlog, help define features, clarify requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of Agile methodologies.
- Test Planning & Execution: Work with functional analysts and quality assurance resources to create and ensure test cases align with user stories' acceptance criteria. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the solutions meet business needs.
- Customer Focus: Build strong, sustainable relationships with stakeholders to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in business analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions within complex systems.
- Agile Methodology: Experience in Lean-Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement, with a preference for SAFe awareness or certification.
- Business impact: builds strong, profitable, sustainable relationships, anticipating and exceeding expectations to increase demand for services and products in order to build loyalty.
- Execution Orientation: Drives to set ever higher standards and achieve results through determination, resilience and commitment. Develops solutions to enhance the service offering and drive continuous improvement.
- Setting Direction: develops simple, deliverable plans based on pragmatic new thinking, ideas or concepts. Assesses accurately commercial risk and return.
- Collaboration: Contributes towards the success to be a part of a high performing diverse team. 'One team' approach - gains commitment to strategic vision and goals. Builds and maintains networks and relationships, sharing knowledge and experience, delivering on commitments. Communicates well and helps others by overcoming barriers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Human Resources: Familiarity with Reward cycles, Global payroll, chain processes would be a real benefit.
- Technology Expertise: familiarity with Dynamics 365 HR, Azure DevOps, ISVs: Axnosis & OHS, iCIMs, Power Apps, Power BI and integration technologies.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
- Certifications: Desirable certifications in business analysis (e.g. BCS, CBAP, PMI-PBA). Agile knowledge or certification is also a plus.
