Job description

EDAG Engineering UK, part of the global EDAG Group, is a leader in engineering services for the automotive industry. We are experts in vehicle development across the complete spectrum of engineering disciplines. From pre-development, series development, individual components, modules and the development of entire vehicles, we combine expert knowledge with the latest trends in lightweight construction and material technologies.

The HR Assistant will be responsible for answering HR queries and assisting with HR projects, recruitment, payroll, compliance and day-to-day office management activities. This position is ideal for a proactive individual looking to develop a long-term career in HR.

Our HR Assistant will:

  • Answer HR queries from managers and employees
  • Carry out general HR admin tasks as directed
  • Maintain records, databases, and digital filing systems
  • Assist in organising meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating internal communications
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support in performance management processes, policy development and other HR initiatives
  • Coordinate monthly payroll and maintain good relations with EDAG's external payroll provider
Please note this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship to work in the UK.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in HR administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in HR software (preferred)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Valid Category B Driving Licence
  • Currently studying for, or holding, a Level 3 CIPD qualification (preferred)
