Key Responsibilities Of The HR Assistant

• Assist with safer recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies and arranging interviews
• Maintain staff records, contracts, and compliance documentation
• Support the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed
• Manage HR administration, including payroll queries, absence records, and policy updates
• Provide general support to senior leadership and the HR team

Requirements For This HR Assistant Role

• Experience in an HR or administrative role, ideally in a school setting
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and safeguarding procedures (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
