HR Assistant - Recruitment & Engagement

Salary: £25,802 - £27,484 per annum

Contract: 12 months FTC

Location: Much Hadham, Hertfordshire

Do you have some previous recruitment or HR experience that you are looking to build on in a new role? We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual, with strong interpersonal skills to join our busy and friendly Recruitment & Engagement team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will work as part of a team that provides a vital in-house recruitment service to stakeholders of St Elizabeths.

What Youll Be Doing

  1. Acting as the first point of contact for the recruitment team, answering and delegating queries in a timely manner
  2. Organising, scheduling and facilitating interviews including the preparation of recruitment paperwork for hiring managers
  3. Taking the lead on managing applications for direct care and learning support roles by maintaining the applicant tracking system and making pre-screening calls to ensure our vacancies are kept to a minimum
  4. Preparing promotional material to raise our profile as an employer of choice to promote our opportunities within the local community and online. There will also be opportunities to attend off-site career events and job fairs with the team.

About You

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a HR or recruitment role with up-to-date knowledge on policies and procedures relating to the hiring and selection process. With a busy and varied workload, we are looking for someone who is highly organised with a positive and proactive approach to tasks.
