Job description

Our client is hiring a HR Administrator in their Manchester based office. This is an exciting time to join an established but growing business.

The Role
The HR Assistant supports with a diverse range of tasks, including generalist HR administration and recruitment. You will support the manager and group leads whilst leading on process improvement initiatives. You will assist with all new hires and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • New starter onboarding and compliance onboarding
  • Issuing offer letters, contracts, and starter packs
  • Assisting group leads with recruitment and the ATS
  • Creating and regularly updating a database
  • Dealing with ATS and competency levels (DISC profiles)
  • Preparing mid-term vision of necessary competencies with group leads
  • Creating a discipline organization chart and updating it as needed
  • Following up on expert population, including steps of the expert process
  • Maintaining staffing and people files with regular updates
  • Supporting group leads for renewal of services in different teams
  • Following up on succession plans
  • Supporting new starter induction and training processes
  • Supporting all areas of the employee lifecycle from new starters through to exit interviews
  • Helping drive operational performance improvements through core business objectives
  • Liaising with internal departments to support processes
  • Updating and maintaining employee, absence, and holiday records
  • Tracking the Personal Development Review Process

Skills and Experience

  • Confident communication skills with the ability to consult with all levels of stakeholders
  • CIPD qualification level 3 upwards
  • 6 months plus in a HR environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Deadline driven with strong organizational skills
  • Experience and understanding of HR legislation
  • Confident IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality
  • Strong written skills and document management
  • Team player who is motivated and collaborative
  • Organized and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
