HR Assistant

About The Role

As a HR Assistant with Wren, you'll support employees and the management team. You will work with colleagues in the HR team and your business area to ensure the provision of a high quality and consistent HR service.

This position will be based at our Head Office at Barton-upon-Humber.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive HR support
• Accurately maintain HR systems and HR databases
• Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures across sites
• Provide comprehensive written and verbal ER advice
• Fully responsible for long term sick absence management cases at informal and formal stages
• Create and distribute weekly/monthly reports within the HR team
• Deliver ad hoc training with site managers
• Provide administrative support as well as note taking duties for the HR Advisor team when required
• Update relevant paperwork and perform other ad hoc HR duties as required
  
  

About You

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of HR and HR related procedures
• Strong communicator both verbally and in writing
• Ability to influence and constructively challenge
• Strong administrative skills
• Experience in collating and producing reports – including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Accuracy/Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of UK employment law
• Previous experience in a HR related role
