Job description

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Provide comprehensive generalist support on day-to-day HR activities, covering both administrative and operational tasks in managing employees throughout their employment lifecycle. Working closely with HR management to ensure the highest quality of HR service is delivered to employees and business.

Performance Management Cycle:

  • Support with yearly appraisal process/salary review process assisting managers with any queries, organising meetings and ensuring the system is updated
  • Analyse employee development data and provide insights to HR and L&D teams
  • Support HR Management in annual salary review, bonus or other employee benefit adjustments within all outside compensate cycle

Policies & Guide:

  • Ensure that all Managers and Employees are being made aware and understand local HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and advice
  • Review, propose and develop new policies and procedures in conjunction with HR Management, in accordance with latest legislation changes
  • Maintain record of employment contracts and other terms and conditions/documents

Employee Relations:

  • Manage a variety of ER cases including complex investigation, disciplinary or grievance hearings through to flexible working requests, absence and performance issues
  • Coach and train line managers on the ER process
  • Collate and deliver ER reports, providing recommendations on appropriate actions and interventions to address areas of concern
  • Conduct exit interviews, where appropriate, ensuring that exit interview feedback is gathered and reviewed regularly, providing insight to HR management
  • Absence reporting and action plan (maternity, sickness, etc.)
  • Meet with employees and line managers as per their request, escalating any issues to the HRBP

Other HR Operations:

  • Ensuring that offers of employment are made and candidates logged in the system with contractual information.
  • Take part in the Induction Program
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested for business analysis
  • Follow up with L&D team for annual Compliance process to ensure 100% achievement on completion
  • Manage Visa processes ensuring compliance in accordance with the Home Office regulations
  • Take a lead of the relocation assistance of internal employees
  • Support the HR management team in the creation of contracts, salary, bonus or benefit adjustment along with updating data in internal HR system
  • Manage the leaver process for exiting employees (resignation acceptance, exit interview, advising Payroll of the leaver and calculate any outstanding holiday and benefits)
  • Support with recruitment related tasks
  • Research and undertake specific projects and other ad-hoc tasks

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Strong HR generalist experience in a fast paced HR department
  • An understanding of current employment legislation within the UK and topical HR issues
  • Ability to deal with numerous activities and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive, team player, self-motivated, ability to think through problems, applying attention to detail with high standards
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Workday and SAP
