Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join the brilliant People team with a focus on providing support to the wider business. You will join a growing People team that is making a real impact on the success of Impact Food Group.
What you will be doing
- Assist in the provision of a professional Employee Relations advisory service across Impact Food Group covering 4,600 employees.
- Provide advice to Operations Managers on all areas of ER including disciplinary, absence management, flexible working, performance management, maternity, and redundancy.
- Record all calls and emails received on a database.
- Ensure appropriate timescales for all employee relations issues are adhered to.
- Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation to implement and advise on best practice and procedure and utilise tools and templates to ensure policies are adhered to correctly.
- Deliver appropriate training to enable line managers to proactively manage issues and develop ER skills.
- Conduct ad hoc projects as directed by the People Director & HRBPs.
- Work closely with Regional Ops Directors, Regional Ops Managers, Business Support, and all Chef/Ops employees.
What we are looking for
- Education to degree level or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Experience as an ER Advisor or as a generalist HR Advisor/Officer with experience of employee relations and employment legislation implementation.
- Preferably CIPD qualified/part qualified or equivalent.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and customer-focused.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
- A good working knowledge of current UK employment legislation and case law.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
