Client Details

A retail business with 130 heads over 2 sites with plans to grow in the future and an opportunity for this role to evolve and grow with the business.


Description
  1. Provide expert guidance on HR policy, employment law and best practices.
  2. Support and develop the HR department's strategies and objectives.
  3. Champion company values and work to foster positive working relationships across the business.
  4. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
  5. Assist with recruitment processes, employee onboarding and training.
  6. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for employee development.
  7. Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required.
  8. Support the implementation of change management initiatives within the company.
Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  1. A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in a similar HR role within the retail sector.
  3. A thorough understanding of UK employment law.
  4. Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
