Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Working Pattern: Full Time

Salary: Up to £40,000

Office based, 2 days from home after probation.

We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  2. Good working knowledge of Payroll Processes and calculations.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
  4. Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  5. Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  6. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge on various HR topics.
  7. Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy within HR systems.
  8. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  9. Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  10. Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention.

Ideal candidate:
  1. Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  4. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
  6. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
