The opportunity

As an established HR Advisor, you’ll be responsible for all areas of the employment lifecycle, including managing ER issues, company benefits and payroll. You will be responsible for supporting the operational side of the business, collaborating with the HR team. This role also involves regularly supporting our senior managers or ExCo team, with best practice advice and guidance.

You will report into the Head of HR.

Day to day you will

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Manage ER issues from start to close.
  • Handle general queries; dealing with employee requests regarding human resources rules and regulations, with Corporate HR Manager support.
  • Support management recruitment for the group as we continue to grow, using our ATS, Teamtailor.
  • Assist the Management team in People practices; advising management of best practices and policies.
  • Take ownership of weekly/monthly reports for the business, as well as adhoc reporting requirements.
  • Draft offer of employments, employment contracts, ensure new starters are set up correctly in our HR system, complete employment references, take part in our induction, and complete exit interviews.
  • Support the Corporate HR Manager with their projects, as well as take accountability for personal projects assigned to HR Advisor.
  • Coordinate Health and Safety, liaising with our H&S Champions at our multiple sites to ensure all offices are always H&S compliant.
  • Handle administration tasks including all formal employment letters and running reports for Management.
  • Process group benefits and payroll including dealing with employees’ queries.

  • Great attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills.
  • Enjoy working under pressure at a fast pace.
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Have or working towards CIPD Level 5.
