Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join one of our leading clients based in North Yorkshire. A family-owned, progressive organisation who have multiple sites across North and West Yorkshire, the Northeast and the Midlands.


As the leading HR Advisor, you will be a key part of shaping the employee experience across our growing business. Responsible for performance and absence management to conflict resolution and wellbeing support. This is a generalist role and no one day will be the same.


Due to their multiple locations, you will be required to travel weekly.

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Supporting the Group HR Manager to build and deliver a people strategy
  2. Support managers with employee relations cases, including performance, conflict, absence, grievances, and disciplinaries where needed
  3. Coaching line managers to grow their leadership skills, to be confident and lead from the front
  4. End to end management of all ER cases
  5. Promoting employee wellbeing
  6. Management of all policies and procedures
  7. Supporting with day-to-day HR operations
What You'll Bring
  1. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  2. 3-5 years' experience in a similar HR/ER role
  3. Ideally experience in a HR field-based role
  4. Empathy, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
  5. Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
