HR Advisor

Westbury (Travel to 2 other sites included)

Full time and Permanent

£43,000 + 7.5% bonus

Hybrid Working (2 days per week: work from home)

Summary:

We are pleased to be assisting a global leader in engineered solutions, specialising in advanced rubber and polymer technologies, in their search for an HR Advisor.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing guidance and support on a range of HR-related matters. This includes addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment laws, and contributing to recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations: Resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts, disputes, and grievances.

  2. Workplace Relationships: Collaborate with management and employees to enhance relationships, improve morale, boost productivity, and promote employee retention.

  3. HR Policy Guidance: Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.

  4. Training Needs: Identify training needs within teams and individuals, contributing to the development of training programs.

  5. Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment efforts, including collaboration with the HR team or hiring managers.

  6. Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring effective integration.

  7. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs and ensure accurate administration.

  8. Performance Management Support: Assist with performance management processes, tracking employee progress and providing guidance.

  9. Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  10. Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  11. Employee Engagement: Participate in employee engagement programs, surveys, and initiatives.

  12. Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on disciplinary actions.

  13. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.

  14. Data Analysis: Use HR analytics to generate reports and insights for decision-making.

  15. Policy Development & Updates: Contribute to the development, review, and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  1. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent, such as CIPD Level 5) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is typically preferred.

Experience:

  1. Relevant experience in Human Resources.

  2. Familiarity with recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.

  3. Proven track record of resolving employee relations issues effectively.
