We are looking to recruit a Generalist HR Advisor for a successful manufacturing company based in Stourport working on a full or part time basis.
As a key member of the HR Department, you will provide assistance with day-to-day activities surrounding absence, timekeeping, recruitment, and welcoming new employees to the business.
Main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Overseeing Recruitment including writing job descriptions, placing advertisements, and arranging interviews.
- Producing job offers and issuing contracts.
- Updating company website and job boards with vacancies.
- Holding new starter induction.
- Employee Relations including absence monitoring, Return to Work, and exit interviews.
- Conducting Right to Work checks.
- Ensuring essential first day training is completed and completion certificates are passed to H&S for training record keeping.
- Maintenance of paperwork and employee files.
- Updating and supporting managers with training matrices.
- Liaising with H&S where needed.
- Responsibilities as listed in the integrated QUENSH system.
- Understanding of the Bradford Factor.
- Notetaking during D&G, Welfare Meetings, and any other such meeting, as needed.
- Occasional travel to different sites.
The right candidate must:
- Have previous HR administration experience.
- Be an excellent communicator.
- Have experience in employment law and be a generalist HR professional.
- Be a team player.
- Manufacturing or engineering experience preferred.
- Be highly organized with an eye for detail.
- Have good energy and enthusiasm.
- Have the ability to troubleshoot.
- Have good time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Be willing to perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
If part-time hours will be 24 per week - Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm, Friday 9am to 1pm.
If full-time, hours will be 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 1:30pm finish on Friday.
Salary: GBP 32,000 per annum.
