HR Advisor

Job Title: HR Advisor, HR Officer or Standalone HR Manager

£32,000 to £40,000

Our client is a rapidly expanding business that distributes building materials around the UK. With ambitious growth plans and upcoming acquisitions, we are seeking a motivated HR Advisor to join the team in Manchester and support employees across the UK in a fast-paced and standalone role.

The successful HR Advisor will support a network of branches throughout the Northwest and involve regular travel between locations.

As HR Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for the Group HR function.

The successful HR Advisor will be involved in the following tasks:

1. Supporting with recruitment, payroll, administration and documentation
2. Manage employee metrics and performance
3. Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievances and absences
4. Connecting with the local community to champion the business
5. Coach and support managers with L&D and people management
6. Ensuring company policies and procedures are compliant and consistent across the Group
