HR Advisor
Salary: Our client is offering a competitive salary plus fantastic benefits.
Location: Portsmouth / Hybrid. PLEASE NOTE that occasional travel of twice per month to an alternative office will be required.
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours. 12 month FTC.
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established business who have multiple sites across the UK. Due to growth plans and changes within the business, our client is expanding their HR team and is looking for a HR Advisor to join a very talented and welcoming team.
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor, ideally who has exposure to ER / Employee relations. Someone who is keen to really own this position and make a difference. It’s a very varied position where growth within the position and business will be encouraged.

You’ll work together with an experienced team to create a great employee experience.
As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Providing ER support to the Managers and employees (flexible working, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management).
- Providing end to end recruitment duties.
- Collaborating with managers to attract, hire and retain great calibre people.
- Onboarding of new employees.
- Engaging with new starters and leavers to ensure the best start or end to their journey with the business.
- Supporting wellbeing, belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion and associated initiatives.
- Supporting with employee relations, such as absence and/or performance improvement.
- Answering queries and providing data insight e.g. regional reporting, DE&I, staff listing, leavers, movers’ reports.
- Supporting the team with processes and checklists.
- Checking the monthly payroll submission to ensure it's accurate.
- Maintaining the people-related policies.
- Joining project teams, supporting the culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal HR Advisor will have / be:
- CIPD qualified is desirable.
- Previous HR Advisor experience.
- ER experience is required.
- Knowledge of current employment legislation.
- Recruitment experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Pro-active.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to deal with confidential issues.
- Experience of working within a busy and corporate company.
