Job description

Role Overview

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support and manage the full range of HR Activities within the employee lifecycle.
  • Support and manage the recruitment cycle from requirement through to selection and onboarding to meet business needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance on a variety of Employee Relations issues and people-related matters.
  • Involvement in Disciplinary and Grievance matters, investigations, and hearings.
  • Use HR Systems to record time and attendance.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure legal compliance and keep up to date with Company policies and procedures.
  • Support the employee wellbeing and mental health process and initiatives.
  • Support the leadership team in maintaining standards and a positive site culture.
  • Cover for the HR Manager where required.

About the Role

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting new challenge?


Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, it is essential you are people-focused and results-driven, and have previous experience in a HR Advisor role or equivalent within a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment. You will need to have a good understanding of Employment Law and practice and the employee lifecycle, including demonstrable knowledge of ER Case management.

You will need to have experience of volume recruitment and interviewing.

You will need to have excellent communication and listening skills and competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels within the company.

You will have good knowledge and experience of using HR Systems and databases and have excellent computer skills, including use of spreadsheets.

You will need to be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and have the ability to work to targets and strict deadlines.
