A luxury beauty brand is searching for a dedicated HR Advisor to be based in London.
The role
As HR Advisor, you will support the management of all aspects of the Company’s Human Resources function, providing guidance, creating solutions and initiatives in order to help the business achieve its goals.
Your key responsibilities:
HR Transactions & Administration:
- Manage third-party service providers (recruiters, payroll, pensions, etc.)
- Maintain accurate employee records in PeopleHR and personnel files
- Generate reports using PeopleHR data (absence, leave, turnover)
- Manage compliance of personnel files (documentation, contracts)
- Guide employees and managers on PeopleHR and HR transactions
- Stay updated on employment law and ensure all procedures comply
- Streamline HR administration and online processes
- Administer benefits package (pension, health)
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Ensure legal compliance in recruitment practices
- Support with recruitment (job descriptions, screening, interviewing, feedback)
- Build relationships with recruitment agencies
- Develop onboarding programmes with line managers
- Issue contracts and new employee documentation
- Support new hires throughout probation and beyond
Learning & Development:
- Facilitate annual performance reviews
- Coordinate skills training across the business
- Conduct management training on policies and skills
Employee Relations:
- Support employee relations cases (as needed)
- Track employee relations progress
- Manage maternity and leave cases
- Conduct exit interviews and address concerns
- Build strong relationships across the company
- Promote positive employee engagement and well-being
Payroll Administration & Submission:
- Compile monthly payroll data with all changes
- Prepare payroll data for submission to the provider
- Access and analyse payroll reports
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
How you’ll dazzle us
Our ideal candidate has a CIPD Level 5 qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in human resources management and experience within the beauty sector. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is also required. You exhibit strong numerical and literacy skills, with the ability to analyse data and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
You must be diplomatic, confidential, and able to build strong relationships. A flexible and proactive approach to work, aligned with the company's values, is paramount. You should be capable of managing payroll processes independently and have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
