Job description

Role Overview

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Support and manage the full range of HR Activities within the employee lifecycle.
  2. Support and manage the recruitment cycle from requirement through to selection and onboarding to meet business needs.
  3. Provide advice and guidance on a variety of Employee Relations issues and people related matters.
  4. Involvement in Disciplinary and Grievance matters, investigations and hearings.
  5. Use HR Systems to record time and attendance.
  6. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  7. Ensure legal compliance and keep up to date with Company policies and procedures.
  8. Support the employee wellbeing and mental health process and initiatives.
  9. Support the leadership team in maintaining standards and a positive site culture.
  10. Cover for the HR Manager where required.

About the Role: Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting new challenge?

Essential Skills:

  1. People focused and results driven with previous experience in a HR Advisor role or equivalent within a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment.
  2. Good understanding of Employment Law and practice and the employee lifecycle, including demonstrable knowledge of ER Case management.
  3. Experience of volume recruitment and interviewing.
  4. Excellent communication and listening skills with competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels within the company.
  5. Good knowledge and experience of using HR Systems and databases, with excellent computer skills including use of spreadsheets.
  6. Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and ability to work to targets and strict deadlines.
