Role: HR Advisor

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Salary: £35,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable HR Advisor to join a dynamic team. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload of Employee Relations issues, ranging from general queries to complex cases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build excellent client relationships, providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice tailored to each client's unique needs.

What you'll do:

As an HR Advisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and challenging. You'll be managing a diverse caseload of Employee Relations issues, providing pragmatic, business-oriented advice tailored to each client's unique needs. Your ability to build strong client relationships will be crucial in understanding their requirements and supporting them in achieving their objectives.

  1. Manage a caseload of various ER issues ranging from general one-off queries to multiple complex ER cases from start to finish including document reviews.
  2. Build excellent client relationships to understand the client's requirements and support them achieve their objectives with an empathetic approach.
  3. Provide a range of options for our clients to select from including best practice/ legally compliant solutions in addition to more commercially focused solutions ensuring any risk to the business is effectively communicated.
  4. Attention to detail is key as is excellent communication and listening skills.
  5. The HR Advisor role gives you the exposure to deal with an extensive range of employment matters across various industries.
  6. No two days are the same, and each client interaction is unique.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Advisor position will bring a good understanding of employee relations matters and broad knowledge of employment law. You should have experience in previous HR advisory roles or actively managing a team. Your excellent communication and listening skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients and provide employer-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of ACAS best practice is also essential.
