Hr Advisor

HR Advisor (Part time) / Halesworth / Permanent / Salary £15 - £16 per hour

Position 1 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client's manufacturing site in Suffolk. Our client, a respected producer of a unique product, is experiencing continuous growth and is looking for a HR Advisor to join the team.

The HR Advisor will play a key role in providing professional and efficient support for all human resources matters, ensuring internal processes and legal requirements are followed. This position also involves participating in HR projects and being a point of contact for employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide full HR support and advice across the business, including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, performance management, employment law, disciplinary matters, and daily operations.
2. Collaborate with Directors to resolve employee issues effectively and efficiently.
3. Prepare and deliver monthly HR dashboard reports, highlighting trends and key issues.
4. Manage the Cascade HR platform, ensuring employee records are accurate and current, using workflows and queries to report on key data.
5. Maintain and update the Employee Handbook, ensuring HR policies and processes meet business needs and comply with employment law.
6. Lead the Performance Management program.
7. Work with hiring managers to support the recruitment process, from posting job vacancies to conducting interviews and selecting candidates for onboarding.

The HR Advisor will have a solid understanding of employment legislation and prior experience in HR advisory or human resource roles. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential. The candidate must possess a CIPD Level 3 or higher qualification and excellent IT skills.

This is a part-time, permanent position, 24 hours per week (flexible hours and days).
