Job description

Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 per annum

Location: Hybrid - Head Office based in Denton, with occasional travel to other sites

Are you passionate about people and want to make a real difference in a values-driven organisation? We're looking for a dynamic and proactive People Advisor to join our client's collaborative HR team.

In this hybrid role, you'll provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of services. You'll play a key role in employee relations, wellbeing initiatives, and supporting business change—helping shape a positive employee experience and great place to work.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and performance issues.

  2. Advising managers on sickness absence and liaising with Occupational Health to support employee wellbeing.

  3. Supporting on service restructures, TUPE processes, and redundancy consultations.

  4. Collaborating with People Business Partners on data insights and reporting to inform HR strategies.

  5. Contributing to recruitment, policy development, training delivery and staff engagement initiatives.

  6. Managing and developing the iTrent HR system and supporting People Services Administrators.

What we're looking for:

  1. A confident HR professional with sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.

  2. Experience managing ER cases, advising on policies, and supporting change processes.

  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  4. Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.

  5. A passion for employee wellbeing, engagement and continuous improvement.
