Skills & Experience required:
Must have CIPD at Level 5 or above and experience of managing restructure projects within the public sector.
Must have up to date employment law knowledge and be values driven and able to lead a restructure process.
Previous experience in Employee relations and Organisational Development.
Previous experience relating to large scale organisational change, TUPE, complex contractual change and redundancies.
Experience of leading change and restructures in the public sector (e.g. Local Government, Fire Service, Education FE/HE where Unionised).
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
Proven skills in the planning, developing and evaluating projects, programmes and changes in work practice for continuous improvement for overall service delivery.
What's involved with this role:This role will be leading a significant change and restructure programme for a significant number of people and therefore experience of leading a change programme and having CIPD Level 5 are essential.Key duties:
Lead key HR areas (e.g., case work, change management, policy, recruitment) for efficient service delivery.
Collaborate with HR colleagues and business units to drive business outcomes.
Assess business needs alongside HR partners or strategic leads.
Implement innovative HR solutions to improve organizational performance.
Identify HR process gaps, providing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
