Our client is a leading service provider in their industry, seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team and provide expert guidance on HR matters, support management, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Overview
The Human Resources Advisor will be a key member of the HR team, delivering expert advice on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and policy compliance. This role is instrumental in upskilling managers, fostering a fair work environment, and supporting the implementation of strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day guidance on employee relations, handling matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance.
- Coach and support managers in resolving HR issues efficiently and fairly.
- Enhance HR processes and contribute to ongoing best practice improvements.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policy.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote a culture of fairness and consistency.
- Respond to all HR support requests within required timescales, balancing business needs with employee wellbeing.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR, with solid HR generalist experience.
- CIPD qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Pragmatic approach with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels.
- Organisational skills with a detail-oriented and communicative approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Package
- Competitive salary with performance bonus.
- Hours Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm.
