HR Adviser

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic HR professional with relevant experience to support the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the trust.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior HR Advisor and will ideally have experience of working in a generalist HR role in an education environment. You will be responsible for providing a human resources function within a hub of schools/services.

This is a great opportunity for someone with child or caring commitments as there is not a requirement to work in school holidays.

Key responsibilities

• The HR team comprises two hubs, with a Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisors delivering an HR service within each hub.
• You will work within a Hub, providing high quality and timely HR advice and support.
• To ensure that best HR practice is implemented across the hub.
• To ensure compliance with Trust policies and practices.
• Focus on core areas of People, Systems, Data through Compliance, Delivery and Enablement.

Salary: £32,076 - £39,186 Full time equivalent. Actual salary is £28,804 - £35,189 per annum. Salary will be determined by relevant experience.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Start Date: Required as soon as possible

Location: Trust wide, West Midlands (travel between sites will be required)

What you will need to succeed

• Ability to work flexibly in an innovative way finding solutions that work for employees and the Trust ensuring children are at the heart of all decisions.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial. Minimum CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification in employment law.
• Be emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• The ability to work in a fast paced, challenging yet rewarding role.
