JOB TITLE: HR Advice Team Leader
LOCATION: Leicester
SALARY: £40,000 + profit share

Our client is a very well-established nationwide provider of business-critical services to thousands of SME organisations all over the UK for 75+ years.

THE ROLE
The successful Team Leader will be required to do the following:

1. You will be in charge of a team of 11 staff who are providing HR and employment law advice to different companies.
2. To mentor and monitor advisors ensuring they provide commercially focused, quality advice to clients.
3. You will offer your team second opinions on HR matters.
4. Provide leadership and support to colleagues and peers.
5. Manage all team absences / sickness/lateness/holidays/ disciplinaries.
6. Conduct performance reviews.
7. Be involved in the recruitment of your team.
8. To be flexible with work times as there may be occasions when having to address staff issues outside of core hours, do training or have team meetings to capture all team members.

CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong Manager with the following experience and attributes:

1. You will need an HR background.
2. Management experience is needed, but HR experience is more important.
3. You may have worked in HR within any business including retail and hospitality.
4. Experience of HR issues is required.
5. Experience of dealing with grievance, holidays, sickness, disciplinaries etc.
6. A willingness to learn and the ability to communicate effectively within the team.
7. You will be a motivator and get the best out of your team.
8. Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
