HR Administrator
Wakefield
£20,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications

We are working exclusively with a well-funded manufacturer who is making great inroads in their sector, now seeking an HR Administrator / HR Officer to take on the day-to-day HR responsibilities for the factory and be the first point of contact for the team.


As HR Administrator, you will be involved in:

  1. Recruitment and onboarding
  2. Employee Relations
  3. Disciplinaries/investigations
  4. Timesheets/payroll
  5. Employee wellbeing
  6. Responsible for the HR system, updating and maintaining, ensuring appropriate access is provided
  7. Reporting sickness/absence

We are keen to hear from you if you have:

  1. HR experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
  2. Initiative and a 'can do' approach, proactive and able to think laterally
  3. Able to deal with confidential issues with discretion
  4. Knowledgeable
  5. Common sense and ability to remain calm under pressure, often multi-tasking
  6. Good communication skills
  7. Happy to go beyond your job description to get things done
  8. Able to maintain a professional distance while remaining approachable
  9. CIPD qualification is not essential but experience in a manufacturing environment performing HR tasks is a must for this role

As HR Administrator you will enjoy:

  1. Salary £20,000 - £35,000 commensurate with your experience
  2. 30.5 days' holiday including Bank Holidays
  3. Early finish on Fridays
  4. Pension and life assurance
