The Job Profile
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role will provide day-to-day HR administration support to Simon & Schuster UK, India, and Australia. The HR Administrator will be a member of the busy and fast-paced HR team and will contribute to the development of a range of HR tools that support the business objectives and help the business achieve operational excellence in its HR activities.
The Job Role
The HR Administrator will support the HR team by taking full responsibility for the execution of transactional HR administration and project coordination across the employee life cycle including but not limited to recruitment, benefits cycles, performance management, learning and development, HR systems, and other initiatives.

The Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be invested in the HR field and working towards becoming CIPD qualified with a working knowledge of the HR generalist field. You will have exceptional organisational and communication skills together with solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application. You will have a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to multi-task, as well as a good understanding of MS Office and familiarity with reporting systems.
You will be a proactive team player, self-motivated and able to work under pressure. You will also be tactful and sensitive when dealing with employee information, maintaining confidentiality and acting with discretion and diplomacy.
