Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join our global clients engineering site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented. The HR & Admin Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees have a smooth transition during their short/long term assignment.


Responsibilities:
  1. Onboarding support: Assist in the pre-onboarding/onboarding process for employees on short/long term assignments, ensuring they have the necessary resources, documentation, and information.
  2. Visa & Immigration Coordination: Help facilitate visa and work permit applications, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Maintain updated records of visa statuses and work authorisation for each assignment.
  3. Policy Guidance: Provide employees with information regarding company policies, cultural norms, benefits, and local legal requirements to ensure they feel prepared and supported in their assignment.
  4. Liaison with External Partners: Collaborate with external agencies and immigration partners to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  5. Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assignments, immigration statuses, and employee benefits.
  6. Communication & Support: Serve as a point of contact for international assignees, addressing questions and concerns related to relocation and assignment experience.
  7. Compliance & Reporting: Assist with ensuring compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding international assignments. Support preparing reports related to assignments as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential.
  2. HR/Admin experience is advantageous.
  3. Ability to work independently and with high self-motivation.
  4. Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
