Job description

Apricus Resourcing are working closely with a national charity who are looking to hire a Permanent Housing & Support Officer for a leading Supported Housing Service based in Post Code Area KT22 Leatherhead of Surrey, who is really passionate about providing a personal housing support services.


This role is working full time with standard hours 39 hours weekly between approx Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, as start and finish times can be slightly amended to suit. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.


We have an exciting opportunity to support clients with a range of diverse needs. The clients include individuals who are homeless, some with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance misuse, and young people.


The successful candidate will be:
  1. Supporting and empowering clients by providing holistic trauma-informed one to one support to encourage their personal development to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible.
  2. Working as part of an effective team to provide high-quality housing and support services to all clients using this service.
  3. Carrying out housing management activities such as rent collection, tenancy enforcement, reporting maintenance issues and health and safety checks. Ensuring a firm and empathetic approach to support clients to maintain their tenancies.
  4. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality accommodation and support services to all clients by participating in required activities required in delivering those.

In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive salary of £26000 per year.
