Job description

Housing Management Lawyer - Exeter

Brand new opportunity for a Housing Management/Litigation Lawyer at a Legal 500 ranked firm with an office in central Exeter.

This multi-office leading practice is looking to recruit an experienced Housing Litigation Solicitor or FCILEx to join their highly regarded housing management team.

The position is within Housing Management, which forms part of the larger Registered Providers team. The housing management team handles all aspects of managing clients' housing stock and tenant conduct. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Addressing disrepair claims
  2. Anti-social behavior injunctions
  3. Breach of tenancy injunctions
  4. Possession claims
  5. Property and land disputes (including adverse possession and boundary disputes)
  6. Leasehold disputes

This quality of work is second to none, and team members frequently appear before County Courts and the Property Tribunal conducting their own advocacy (at least through directions and case management hearings).

To be considered for this role, you will have strong litigation experience ideally gained in a similar sector. Supervising experience is desired as you will be expected to supervise junior team members.
