Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join a team that handles a range of consumer actions. You will be managing your own caseload, with a particular focus on housing disrepair cases, while also assisting senior fee earners on more complex matters. The role offers significant responsibility and the chance to further develop your expertise within the housing disrepair sector and broader consumer litigation.

Candidate Profile
Our client is looking for a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner who can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years PQE, with experience in housing disrepair claims preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent drafting skills, particularly in preparing legal documents such as letters, file notes, witness statements, and other case materials.
  • Solid experience in preparing for and attending court hearings.
  • Strong legal research abilities and the capacity to liaise effectively with clients, other parties, and the court.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage your time and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

While the firm is based in Manchester, they are open to considering candidates in other locations, including those seeking remote working options.
