Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

The Role:

A housekeeper is required to deliver an efficient and high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the home to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our residents.

Working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis (does include some weekend work). Typical hours are 08.00 - 16.00.

Key Accountabilities

1. Quality: Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the home, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
2. Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
3. Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
4. Provide support to the laundry service within the home when required, providing all aspects of laundry service including washing, drying, ironing and returning of clothing and linen.
