Housekeeper

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team, here in the Endoscopy Department.

Based at the Endoscopy Suite, 4th Floor.

Main Duties of the Job

1. Stock management, distribution, and ordering of replacement items.
2. Ensure stock cupboards and store rooms are clean and tidy.
3. Manage department defect call log book ensuring all defects are logged, reported, recorded, and closed.
4. Ensure general and specialist equipment is cleaned on a regular basis as per cleaning policy.
5. Distribution of linen and scrubs, ensuring stock is tidy.
6. Recording Compass usage.

Job Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to work closely with the procurement lead to support the Endoscopy service.

He/she will monitor quality standards.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2/equivalent.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of cleaning and food handling procedures; knowledge of CoSHH.

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Ability to adapt to various working situations.
