Workplace description: From its magnificent position above the pretty and secluded fishing village of Hope Cove, this hotel offers some of the most beautiful views of sea and coastline in the UK. Overlooking Bigbury Bay, Burgh Island, Rame Head near Plymouth and with good visibility even as far as the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing and the grounds of two acres descend to the fine sandy beach making it convenient to bathe in safety from the hotel.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. You must possess good communication skills.
2. Previous experience of Front of House Systems would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right candidate.
3. You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest enquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations.
4. You will work closely with other hotel departments, especially housekeeping, to ensure rooms are ready for guests to check in.
5. This is a busy front desk so you must be organized and able to work as a team or on your own initiative, providing a high level of customer service at all times.

Essential criteria: You will have previous reception experience within a good quality hotel.
