Team Member - Housekeeping Newcastle

We are currently seeking vibrant individuals to join our team at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Hostel. This role is a part-time position working 10am to 2pm with the possibility of a later start or a longer shift at the weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms to brand standards.

• Changing linen on beds and bunk beds.

• Cleaning and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks.

• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets.

• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs.

• Assisting with cleanliness of public areas and bar.

• Carrying out deep or periodic cleans per schedule.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a housekeeping role is a plus but not essential. No specific qualifications are required, just a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humour!

This housekeeping role includes tasks of a physical nature throughout the shift, including extensive bending, lifting, and carrying.

We're Hiring:

We are looking to fill vacancies in part-time roles, with a minimum of 8 hours per week, working up to 4 days from 7, on a rota basis.

• Experience with hotel, hostel, or aparthotel operations would be an advantage.
