As a Hospital Director at our Leicester Hospital, you'll inspire and lead the hospital's leadership team and create a culture that embraces, embeds, and role models the 'We care' values & behaviours. You'll manage and develop diverse relationships with consultants, GPs, the NHS, and other external bodies to drive a patient-centric culture, ensuring care is proactively managed and individuals are developed. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial and/or clinical experience in independent healthcare.

As Registered Manager and a 'fit and proper person' as defined by the CQC, you'll ensure continued development of external support networks and be accountable for meeting all CQC requirements, utilising and drawing on expertise within the relevant support functions where appropriate.

As our Hospital Director, you'll be accountable for:

1. Operational performance of the hospital including full financial and budget responsibility.
2. Delivering profitable growth and operational efficiency as well as ensuring all commercial opportunities are identified and mobilised where appropriate.
3. Driving the Quality agenda, prioritising patient safety and inspiring your team.
4. Proven experience of driving revenue growth and accountability for budgets, P&L, and operating costs.

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital
Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blueprint for the wider Hospitals refresh programme.

The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, a minor treatment room, and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015, we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X-ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship, and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme.

The Hospital has been rated as a 'Good' hospital by the CQC across all departments inspected.
