Horticulture Teacher Job:

Reeson Education is currently seeking a Horticulture Teacher to work at one of our fantastic client SEN schools situated in the borough of Brent. If successful, you will be teaching Horticulture with a Key Stage 5 ASC class. You will be leading a team of 3/4 TAs and supporting a class of 6 - 8 students. This is an incredible opportunity to work within an outstanding special needs school situated in the borough of Brent. As a teacher in this school, you will have access to fantastic resources and a highly supportive team. For 2 days a week, your lessons will include going to the local farm.

The School:

This outstanding special school is situated in Brent. They have approximately 300 students between the ages of 4 - 19 and over 140 members of staff. They can support pupils with high and low functioning autism. It is the school's priority to ensure each student has an individual focus that is not only enjoyable but age-appropriate. This school has fantastic amenities for members of staff.

The Ideal Applicant:

The Headteacher is incredibly successful and is highly valued by all members of staff. They are looking for someone who is confident, driven, eager to learn, flexible, and can take initiative. As this vacancy is for an immediate start, it is key for any new member of staff that joins the school to ensure a smooth transition takes place, in order to create minimal disruption for the students.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with complex needs in either a mainstream or a special school. We need someone who is highly confident in supporting students with complex needs.
