Up to £13.50 per hour PAYE depending on experience

2. For office based and hybrid roles, your commute to the place of work must be less than 1 hour.
3. This is a temporary role, initially 7-8 months.
4. Full UK driving licence required for this role.
5. Looking for candidate to start asap.
6. 32 hours per week up to March 25. Then April to September 42 hours peak season.

Key Requirements:

1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
2. Experience of delivering services to householders / members of the public.
3. Evidence of practical experience in grounds maintenance and/or NVQ Level 2 in horticulture.
4. Able to carry out a physically demanding role in all weathers.
5. Able to use a range of mechanical and hand tools.
6. Knowledge of the requirements of Health and Safety in respect of horticultural duties.

The successful candidate will work as a ground’s maintenance operative with the ability to work on a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks, which includes grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, playground inspections, marking out sports pitches and some low-level tree work.
