Horticultural Manager | Didcot Area | Salary up to £32,000

Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Horticultural Manager for a fantastic and leading large format retailer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at a very exciting time. This retailer has stores in key locations in the UK and has a reputation for exceptional service. As a Horticulture/Plant Area Manager, you will have worked within a Garden Centre environment and have a good knowledge of all things plants and horticulture!

You will be passionate about service and standards in your store.

Responsibilities:

1. Profitably develop the full sales potential of the branch, enhancing its reputation for its products, service, values, and expertise.
2. Achieve budget/target sales performance and communicate results to the branch team.
3. Optimise product ranging and stocking, engaging with appropriate HQ personnel.
4. Ensure effective internal and external window merchandising of products and support material.
5. Ensure the right staff are recruited, trained (performance improvement), motivated, and work as a team to sell and build the branch reputation.
6. Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, hands-on Manager with previous exposure to working in a customer-focused retail environment.

The starting salary will be up to £32,000 depending on your experience and will be reviewed throughout your career.
