Job Description

To support the continuing expansion of IDIADA activities in the UK, we are seeking a suitable professional to join our UK Homologation team.

This position reports to the UK Homologation Manager and is responsible for:

1. To carry out and deliver homologation activities across the existing client base.
2. Client-facing, customer-focused role working across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers (Categories M, N, L and O).
3. To generate opportunity proposals in line with IDIADA's technical scope related to the project execution, under supervision.
4. Witness testing at manufacturer locations or testing laboratories for homologation.
5. Purpose, preparation and presentation of test reports.
6. To support the Senior Homologation Engineers to prepare the required homologation tests and to carry out these tests.
7. Keep updated about all the innovations, findings, news and regulations changes in their field.

Qualifications

Desired profile

1. Previous automotive or homologation experience essential in activities such as:
1. Commercial Vehicle Approval (desirable).
2. Passenger Car Passive & Active Safety (essential).
3. Knowledge of ADAS, Cyber Security and Software update systems and GSRII requirements (desirable).
2. Knowledgeable in type approval regulations, technical and safety requirements.
3. Keep updated with the latest innovations and news in the automotive market.
4. Fluent in English.
5. Other languages will be an asset.

Qualifications

1. A degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (other relevant engineering disciplines or experience will be considered).
2. Practical knowledge of the automotive industry.
3. Knowledge of Automotive OEM processes.
4. Sales/Engineering/Technical knowledge.
5. Commercial, costing, engineering or programme management knowledge.
6. Full driving license is essential.
