The Role

Compass Associates are working with a private elderly care provider who operates a remit of care homes across the UK and is now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations for one of their services in Manchester. Due to recent promotions within the business, they are looking for a new Home Manager to lead a small care home based in Manchester that has a good history with CQC, positive staffing culture, and an excellent relationship with key stakeholders in the area.

The provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager, someone who has managed a nursing service, who can help drive on recent successes and empower staff to provide the best care possible and achieve an ‘Outstanding’ in line with CQC requirements.

In addition, the business is prepared to offer internal career growth opportunities, whether that be in quality, business development, or operational-focused roles.

The Candidate

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home, with a positive staff culture and compliance in line with CQC requirements. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensuring the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location

This role is based in Ashton-Under-Lyne and is commutable from Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, and Bolton.

Interview Process

The interview process will be in a 2-stage format:

  1. Stage one: face to face with Regional Manager
  2. Stage two: Teams call with Managing Director

Summary

My client is seeking a Registered Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £60k – £65k per annum + bonus & benefits.
